Music has been a part of my life ever since I started playing the drums as a little boy. It quickly became clear that this wasn't just a simple pastime for me. When I first had the chance to play the drums, it was love at first sight. Experiencing the vibrations a drum set can produce through a big PA system was exhilarating. I started learning how to play the drums and soon had my first on-stage experiences, which eventually led to playing full-time in a function band.

 

As a young man living at home, I wanted to escape the countryside and the limited opportunities for building a career in the music industry there. So, I moved to London to study popular music and drums. While I eventually realized that "big city life" wasn't for me, I had the opportunity to make beautiful music with incredibly talented people from all over the world.

 

Soon, it became clear that the world of recording attracted me far more than performing live. Remote recording gives me the possibility to combine what seemed to be contradictory: living where my home and heart are, while doing what I love most.
